Q. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?

A. Senior Living is an animated comedic web series about a twenty something workaholic named Tyler who starts to work at a senior living community center after he’s fired from his corporate job.

Q. WAIT, WHAT?

A. It’s not just about Tyler. It’s an ensemble comedy! There’s Morgan: who runs the place and then there’s Neil, who somehow works and lives there despite not being a senior. There are the other residents like Ada and Regina; and there’s also Herschel and Jimbo, who are always out for trouble.

Q. So why an animated web series?

A. It’s always been our dream to have our own TV show. We love TV. For some reason we originally thought it would be easier to do this concept as an animated show than live action. We were wrong and now we’re stuck with it.

Q. WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR INFLUENCES?

A. When we started designing the characters our first instruction was: “in the style of Bob’s Burgers.”

Q. WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR PLAN HERE?

A. Our focus right now is releasing a series of shorts called “Shorts: Season 1.” We want to use short episodes to build our audience with the eventual goal of crowd funding a season of full length episodes similar to our pilot episode.

Q. WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?

A. We’re doing this completely independently. Zach is based in Milwaukee and Marcus is based in New York. We use local actors and artists and keep everything 100% independent. We want to grow this thing organically and we’re doing this because we love it.
